GLÜCK AUF - FANFARE (2018)

The GLÜCK AUF - FANFARE (Good luck - Fanfare) was composed in early 2018 as a commission of the Bergkapelle Saar (D) and its conductor Bernhard Stopp.

The whole Fanfare refers to the theme of a song (Steigerlied) that the miners often sang on ceremonial occasions and that in time became the official anthem of the miners.
