Due to schelduling reasons, IMAGINARY LETTERS, composed for the young talented Belgian saxophonist Joris Rompen in 2023, is premiered on November 30th by the Orquestra Sinfónica de Tomar (PT), my friend Alberto Roque assuming the Solo-Sax. Soprano part in this demanding Concerto.
Alberto taught saxophone and conducting at the Scuola Superior de Musica de Liboa for many years.
The Orquestra Sinfónica de Tomar is conducted by Alberto's former student Simão Francisco.
In 2025 IMAGINARY LETTERS will have more performances with Joris Rompen as soloist. More details to come soon . . . . .
